Josiah's "Mean Cars" and Tow Trucks

This evening, after watching Ben play his Cars video game for about 5 minutes, Josiah dashed upstairs and sat down at the table to draw this picture, spending a good hour creating this scene. The mean cars are all following (chasing) Lightning McQueen (red car at bottom). The big green car is Wingo -- one of the gang of hooligan autos that runs McQueen's driver, Mack, off the road near the beginning of the story. Other "mean" cars rendered by SiSi are the yellow car and the blue car just behind McQueen.

The brown vehicle in the upper right is Mater, the endearing tow truck who befriends McQueen. He's being followed by a whole fleet of "big tow trucks that are far away." Josiah also explained that the detailed Mater is a lot of work, so that's why he made the rest of the trucks like that.

Josiah and Ben worked together today creating a house for Josiah's favorite "stuffed buddy," Wolfie (a small wolf), who has grown up and needs her own bed now. My favorite feature is the flip up floor (flap) that reveals a game room with checkers, car games and a kitchen stove :)
